Deena has been taking Pilates since 2004 and teaching since 2023. She is a Polestar Certified Instructor. Deena teaches both group classes as well as private sessions at Cornerstone Pilates Studio. She is passionate about the benefits that Pilates brings to movers of all ages and genders and loves to help others through pragmatic and actionable teaching.
Deena found Pilates soon after the birth of her second child. She credits Pilates as one of the main reasons she made her way back to mental and physical fitness after bringing two joyous (stressfully premature!) babies into the world. As she practiced Pilates as a student, Deena wanted to share the joy and benefits of Pilates with others. She joined the Polestar Pilates Teacher Training program and completed full certification in September 2023. She continues her education in Pilates by enrolling in the Resident program and attending master classes at the studio.
Deena loves to leverage both her own personal experience as well as the modalities she is certified in, to create personalized and impactful sessions for her clients. Her main goal is for clients to embark on a continuous lifelong movement journey so that they can feel more connected with their bodies and enjoy life to its fullest.
Deena works in the healthcare technology field when not in the studio. She has two grown children and lives in the DFW area with her husband.
